Ledburn Cables was originally set up in 2005 by David Blagburn and Jack Ledwidge. Starting with 3 staff and a 4,000 square ft building we now operate out of a 20,000 square ft building with 12 staff.
The reason for our growth and what separates us from our competition is simple, our breath of stock, expertise, and commitment of service to our customers.
Jack started his career in the 70’s and spent 7 years with cable manufacturing company BICC before joining Eastern Electrical.
He held various positions including branch manager Dublin, regional manager and finally director of sales for the Eastern group in Ireland.
David spent the early years of his working life in the UK with Newey and Eyre before coming to Ireland in the 80’s and taking up the purchasing managers role with Eastern Electrical in Dublin.
He moved on after a few years taking on a similar role with OBF distribution before becoming general manager with ICD part of the Edmundson group and then lastly manager of Edmundson Elect Dublin.
Keith started his career as a Graduate Management Trainee in an Electrical Wholesaler. He went on to manage various locations before taking up a role in the commercial side of the business.
He joined Ledburn Cables in 2022 as General Manager with the responsibility of running all aspects of the business.
